Today I will present rock band FLOW. I will put some of my faves songs as well.

Takže dnes bych vám ráda představila rockovou kapelu FLOW. Taky přihodím některé své oblíbené songy.

 

They were formed in 1998! and signed on to Sony Music Japan's Ki/oon Records label.

Kapela byla zformována již v roce 1998 a zapsali se pod Sony Music Japan 's Ki/oon Records label.

There is 5 members - 2 vocalists, drummer, guitarist and bassist.

Music history:

The group's base was created in 1993 when brothers Kōshi (elder: vocals) and Take (younger: guitar) began playing together. They formed Flow in 1998, and were eventually joined by Keigo (vocals), Gotō (bass) and Iwasaki (drums; joined in 2000). In 2001, the band released its first maxi single,  "Flow #0".The group then released two mini-albums within the same year. "Okuru Kotoba", Flow's first cover single, was released in January 2003.In the spring of that year, their first full-scale album Splash!!! debuted at #2. In July 2003, Flow released the single "Blaster" on a major label, Ki/oon Records. In April 2004, they released "Go!!!".A string of singles followed and in July 2005 the band released its third album, Golden Coast. Since the release of Golden Coast, Flow has released two singles with new A-sides, but one of these ("Around the World/Kandata") was a double A-side release. "Colors" is the band's fourth single. The songs "Go!!!" and "Re:member" both served as opening themes to the anime series Naruto. "Days" was the first opening for Bones' Eureka Seven anime, and "Realize" was the opening for the PlayStation 2 video games based on the same series. Flow performed live in America for the first time in Dallas, Texas on September 2, 2006 at Anime Fest which was held at the Hyatt Hotel and Convention center in downtown Dallas. Flow performed "Colors" in 2006, the first opening for Sunrise's original series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Their song "Answer" is the first opening theme for the live action Japanese drama Tantei Gakuen Q. They performed "Night Parade" with the hip-hop band Home Made Kazoku. In February 2008, they released a new single entitled "Arigatō", followed by Persona -trinity soul-'s new opening, "Word of the voice" in June 2008. They performed Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2's second opening theme "World End" released in 2008. In 2009, the band performed "Sign", the sixth opening for Naruto Shippuden. The band released a B-side compilation album on November 4, 2009. Their single "Calling" will be featured as the ending for the anime Heroman. Flow returned to North America to perform at FanimeCon in San Jose, California on May 28, 2010.

 

Základy kapely byly položeny již v roce 1993, kdy bratři Kōshi (starší; vokál) a Take (mladší; kytara) spolu začli hrát. Flow zformovali v roce 1998 a časem se k nim připojil Keigo (zpěvák), Gotō (basák) a Iwasaki (bicí; připojil se v roce 2000). Roku 2001 vydali svůj první maxi singl "Flow #0".Kapela potom vydala dvě mini alba ten samý rok."Okuru Kotoba", první cover singl, byl vydán v lednu 2003. Na jaře toho roku první full album Splash!!! V červenci 2003 vydali singl "Blaster" pod hlavním labelem Ki/oon Records. V dubnu 2004 vydali "Go!!!". Řada singlů následovala a v červenci 2005 kapela vydala třetí album "GOlden Coast". Od vydání Golden Coast Flow vydali dva singly s A-sides, ale jeden z nich ("Around the World/Kandata") byla dvojitá A-sidová nahrávka. "Colors" je v pořadí čtvrtý singl. Song "Go!!!" a "Re:member" jyou oba openingy pro Naruta."Days" byl první opening pro Eureka Seven a "Realize" byl opening pro PlayStation2 videohru založenou na té samé sérii. Flow měli živé vystoupení v americe - poprvé v Dalasu, Texas 2.září 2006 na Anime Festu, který se konal v Hyatt Hotelu a Convention centru v Dalasu. Flow představili "Colors" v roce 2006 a je to opening pro Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebelion. Jejich song "Answer" je první opening pro J-drama Tentei Gakuen Q. "Night Parade" představili s hip-hopovou kapelou Home Made Kazoku. V Lednu 2008 vydali nový singl nazvaný "Arigató", který byl použit v Persona-trinity soul- jako nový opening. "World of the voice" v červnu 2008. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 druhý opening - "World End" vydavný v r. 2008. 2009 kapela představila "Sign", šestý opening k Naruto Shippuden. B-sidové album vydali v 4 listopadu 2009. Singl "Calling" byude další ending Heroman. Flow se vrátili do severní Ameriky, aby vystoupili na FanimeConu v San Jose, Californii 28. května 2010.
